Hi, Howard, No, I just cut them so I have to drive them in with a hammer af far as they will go. Cut the thin end until it will go in about half way, put some glue on it then drive it in, cut and go to the next one. This should stabilize the block. Put the wedges in a toaster oven or hot box for a day or so to dry them out before going. Place in plastic bags to keep them dry. Newton
