The flanges used with Teflon bushings did not have the birdseye machined into them. The
birdseye was part of the Teflon bushing. No, the two types of flanges are not
interchangeable. Using the flange designed for Teflon bushings with a cloth bushed shank
would result in a whole lot of side play.
