Restringing just the bass

Jim I loved this idea and I will make a dummy pin in order to use it
but, please, John said:
-to drill the hole, to cut 1/4" below the hole and to make a slot (?)
from the botton to the hole.

-to cut a slot on the top of the tuning pin. (?)
This slot must be made cutting the pin in order that it be something
