Jim, Is this what you mean? Cut a slot , from the tuning pin tip down to the pin hole so that the formed coil may be removed without uncoiling? How difficult do you find it to insert the uncoiled coil? "This causes me to tremble tremble tremble" and lose unnecessary blood. Joe > JIM .
