Dear List,

Here's an unsolicited endorsement in response to the questions about string
covers. I recently purchased a string cover from LaRoy Edwards for my
Hamburg B. It's exceptional, and the piano can be played without having to
remove it. They have over 200 grand patterns, so a pattern is rarely
needed. They are all custom made with decorative stitching around the
edge.. They will custom embroider your name, the piano's name or any
special message. We had Steinway & Sons Hamburg embroidered on it in gold
and they did a very classy job.

Of particular interest to you is that they only sell through piano
technicians and will not deal directly with the public. They are not as
cheap as others I've seen. It's like buying quality piano parts, and
definitely worth the difference. The wholesale price range is $150.00 -
$200.00 (a little more for the Imperial) They provide a wonderful miniature
scale sample. A great product to offer your customers, and earn additional
income in the process. It's a win-win deal for everyone. I recommend it.
