Hi to all: Why is it that most of the time an expert aural tuner is compared to a novice machine tuner? You know it works both ways. If you want to compare aural vs machine tunings, why not compare novice aural tunings with novice machine tunings. All a novice aural tuner needs is to buy a $7.50 Tuning Hammer and a couple of wedges coupled with a great ego (he thinks he can tune) and he is in business. Or to continue to keep it fair, compare an expert machine tuner with an expert aural tuner. I have never seen in print a comparison of an expert machine tuner with a novice aural tuner. Just a simple observation. Jim Coleman, Sr.
