Dear Clyde,
The Kawai 502 has barely enough room for a full size tank, the strut presses
on the tank just a little but it works fine. The mylar baffle should be above
the tank and to the far right side of the case. The newer 514, 503-LE, 505,
CX-5H all require the new 5PS-50-ST (short tank). The tank will fit on the
floor and pretty far to the right. The mylar baffle will go above the tank
and to the inside right wall. Velcro works real nice for attaching the baffle
to the metal keybed frame.
The vertical short tank system works great in spinets too. It allows more
room for evaporation and for the Dampp-Chaser and Humidistat.
The new Humidifier Treatment does a real nice job of keeping the pads fresh
for a much longer period of time, often double.
I'm catching up on 10 days of email. Feel free to call anytime if you need
specifics on any Kawai, Bosendorfer, Schimmel or, well, just about any other
brand.
(Lititz is a beautiful town)
