*Nuhuh, they paid $10 out and got $1 back, ultimately paying $9 each. The
hotel tried to kept $25 dollars for a room that wasn't legally worth more
than $24 at commercial rates for triple occupancy (roaches, you know). A
member of the local constabulatory got wind of the impending transaction and
shook the manager down for the extra buck while the bellboy was delivering
the refund. He also ate the last two donuts on the coffee cart, but they
don't tell you about that, do they? All things considered, The local cop got
the best deal.    

Did I miss anything?
