Hello,
    Piano or mute wire bent into a "J" which has about a hundred uses,
and I made a pretty good pair of tweezers from a peice of size 26 wire. 
It works for positioning pedal rods in the damper lift rod after
returning an upright action. (It beats crawling under and sticking ones
head against a dirty soundboard while looking up at a contorted angle).
