I have a Conover upright with some missing hammer butts. The hammer
butts are so different from the usual upright hammer butt that you can
not replace them what is sold by the piano supply companies. The Conover

does not have bridle straps. Instead there is a L shaped hook at the
end of the jack that pulls the hammer back. The Conover piano is one of
the finest upright pianos ever made. Has anyone saved parts from a
Conover that I might buy?
