I have used the SAT II method without problems and with 2 tunings the piano stay very good. On an upright piano the first tuning I do with a impact tuning hammer and if the pitch is a bit above there is no problems. The second tuning is with a normal tuning hammer and normally the bass strings are where I have more work. If the piano is a grand I use only the normal tuning hammer and sometime it needs 3 tuning without interval between the tunings.
