Is this normal procedure?

Geeze! Already, there are calls for me to apologize for knocking a couple of
Equaholics off the wagon.

I stand by the statement that ET is the "final solution". Many on the List
have stated that its use today is the one and only answer. It is as harmful
to music as an automatic rifles to human life. When it reaches the level of
"universal acceptability" it threatens the very existence of the piano and
other acoustic instruments.

The "Final Solution" to electronic instrument manufacturers and to creators of
electronic music is to do away with anything and everything but their on kind.
ET will surely be their one and only way to create a scale. Anyone who
promotes any other idea will receive the kind of condemnation and ridicule
which you have seen on the List today.

I have never really seen anything of substance or value written by these
individuals, only banalities and inflammatory responses to things in which
they have no knowledge or experience. In an effort to make the rest of the
List think they have something important to say, they choose to respond the
way they always do.

I am not concerned about "peace" on the List from these people. If they are
irritated enough by the rage that their own ignorance creates, they may choose
to unsubscribe.
