APSCO

Dear Jonathan ---

What you're saying is by no means the worst story to come out of the APSCO
order department. However, don't be hasty. They have a _very_ large
selection of items, and their prices are usually quite low. Their service
often stinks, but with patience stuff will arrive, and with persistence
errors will be corrected. Some things you will find at APSCO and nowhere
else.

The trick is to be aware that you may have a long wait. Plan ahead. Keep
supplies in stock, even if it may be months of years before you think
you'll need them.

I don't count on instant service from Renner, either. Some of their more
unusual items have to come from Germany, and it takes time. However, once
again, they have things that no one else carries. I'm glad that they are
there.

I know that you are eagerly awaiting your new tools, but try to keep from
watching the porch like a broody hen ... you'll only get frustrated.
Instead, let the arrival of the order surprise you .... oh, look! What
could that be? Oh, yes, I kind of remember ordering that .....

For rush orders, I FAX or phone Pianotek or Schaff.

Susan
