Hi Ming,

I can't remember his name but there is a fellow in Michigan who is an
expert finish repairer who gave a class at the Dearborn Convention. He
showed us how to repair a leg by drilling a longish hole along its axis,
both ways from the break. The hole is more than large enough to receive
a suitable piece of reinforcement rod (rebar) and the remaining space is
filled with epoxy, which glues the assembly together. All that remains
is to tidy up the surface of the joint and refinish.

This is assuming that you still have the legs and the breaks are
reasonably clean and no major pieces are missing.

Hope this can solve your quandry.

Tom
