I read the post asking what the difference is in tension when you raise the
pitch of a piano 1/2 step. I've always wondered about this too.

Using Parson's PSCALE program, I was able to calculate the change in tension
on the original scale of a Mason & Hamlin Grand Model A, (original scale) from
42,821.65 lbs. at A440 to 38,093.73lbs. at A415 1/2 step lower. This is a
change of 4727.92lbs. (or if I devide by 2.2 for difference in kilograms,
about 2149kg)

I don't know what kind of piano you were talking about, but with the PSCALE
program it's pretty easy to figure out.

Is that more info then you were after?!
