Hi Willem,
          Could be the rod clipping the damper spoons on the split rod
style actions. 2. the damper rod hanger bushings badly worn. 3. pedal,
trapwork adjustable bolt clicking at the pedal. But since you seem cryptic!
I'll bet it less obvious.
