Binding Hammer Flange

You CANNOTT use the same pin.  The sharp ends will chew the bushing felts
and chew the butt hole, (well what is the correct term, ok ok so that is
another reason to call it the birds eye) at the same time when you try to
push it back in.  
The correct procedure is to find a NEW pin size that is not too tight that
 splits the butt, (excuse me birds eye). or too lose that it turns in it.
Then ream and burnish the felt centers to accomodate. Push the pointed end
in , not the flat end.
