Dick,
Do not think any one makes one other than plastic.
Idea that may work. take #22 piano wire and make the loop end the same
shape as the plastic. Drill a hole in a small 1/4 inch x 6 inch dowel 1/2
inch from the end and insert wire. Wrap around dowel and glue with 5 minute
epoxy.
Or use your capstan tool that has a square notch in it. A little tricky but
works fine when you get use to placing the brass clip on the dowel and
rotating until it is in the proper position and clip it on.
