Some time back, I posted a question about Kawai's RX series bridge laminations being a mix of maple and mahogany. Don Mannino responded that he thought it was for flexibility control, whatever the reasoning behind that may be. Well, it seems that the Yamaha C6 I tuned the other day has a similar mix of, presumably, maple and mahogany in the tenor bridge body laminations. OK Yamaha guys, what's yours for? Ron
