Greetings,
There are certain jobs that are, by time, compromised. As a concientious
craftsperson matures in their career, they naturally avoid compromises to the
quality of their work. After all, why risk blotting a good reputation by
agreeing to do the impossible?
This is where the young Turk has the opportunity to shine or shuffle, God
bless'em. They get the choice between tackling this Hydra, or taking a pass.
Seems like my first several years were a collection of all the cast-off work
from around here, and since the alternative was hunger, I took anything. This
is real motivation to improve one's clientele, and I believe that clienteles
are improved by maintaining high standards and the prices that go along with
them.
It is Friday, the beer is cold, and open. Have a great weekend all.
Regards,
Ed Foote
