Who was the better?

When you say that W.N.G.made actions for M&H,Knabe and J.Bauer,dose this mean
they could play equally well like the real well known names in the industry at
that time?Do you think that the touch and response of the keys would
be alike? How would you compare these action to that of Renner actions in
build quality and performance. Obviosly frome that erea (1924).

PS. Im in the prosess of puchasing a J.Bauer that is simply
beautiful.Everything has been done to make this piano in new like condition,
right down to the hand rubbed laquer finnish. A complete rebuild. The asking
price is 9k. In your opinion
do you think the pianos reputation can justify the price? Thank you.
