First choice: Replacement. Make a nice pretty clone of scrap pin block
material and pitch the old one into the fireplace. I suppose you should wait
until it get cold first huh?

Second choice: A good medium viscosity (1/2 hour or more cure) epoxy. Pour,
or trowel, it in. Clamp if necessary, and call them in the morning.
