Dear Bill,

I've had good luck with Dave Sanderson. He costs a couple bucks more than
Mapes
(the last I heard about $10 per string, plus shipping and handling, which
is "two or three bucks"), but his strings are beautiful, I don't think he
has a minimum order, and you can e-mail him the measurements. His
turnaround time is very good.

He also sells a dandy little metric tape measure, with a loop on the end to
fit over the hitch pin.
