OTHER BIZAAR WIERDITIES ABOUT THIS PIANO

To put it bluntly, this is a defective design. It was a mistake to begin
with, and any rebuilding attempt is only perpetuating an engineering
ignor-ance. One fall out of this is that without agraffes on a grand
piano, you will never have constant damping where there are monochord,
bi-chord, or tri-chord dampers. Because of the many factors that make up
the lay of strings under tension, and how they act because of tuning,
dampers will never give satisfaction in an agraffe-less grand piano
design... IMHO
