Calibration Cassettes for checking and adjusting Standard Audio Cassettes Recorders and players should be readily available with standard test tones. You do however need something to measure the pitch/frequency of the output from your recorder (a Frequency Meter/Timer Counter - some of us electronics types have in our workshops). All you have trained ears and with a tuning fork should be able to tweak for zero-beat.
