I believe Breakfree is often used for gun firing mechanisms. I think you
can get it at gun shows and gun supply houses. I've had my bottle for a
while now, so I've forgotten from whence it came. :-) Actually, I hadn't
thought of using it on bearing points. Seems like a good suggestion.
I have used Liquid Wrench with Teflon. The smell is not very strong, and
the price is low. The method I use is very high-tech. :-) Spray some in the
cap, dip a swab (or pipe cleaner) in, and apply to desired area. However, I
like the idea of using the hypo oiler, and have applied Protek with it.
