Sears has Phillips head adapters ("sockets") for -- I think it is a 3/8"
drive socket wrench. They also carry slotted screw driver "sockets" but my
experience with that kind is that they bend and deform. Someone on the list
recommended the slotted adapter from Snap-On Tools. Since one of my
customers is a Snap-On tool salesman, I got one from him and have been very
satisfied.
