Glenn,

Below is a post I saved about Schubert back in 1996. Maybe it will be
of some help.

You didn't say whether this is a new or older piano. However, in the 1996-97
Annual Supplement to The Piano Book there is a listing for a Schubert piano,
made at the Chernikov piano factory in the Ukraine. This piano is being
distributed under this name for the first time in the U.S. this summer. (My
information doesn't say anything about "Franz Schubert"; however, with
stencil pianos like this, anything is possible.) The distributor is Tri-Con
Music Group in Milwaukee. Their phone numbers are: 941-953-9628 and
800-336-9164. The Supplement also lists the sizes, models, and prices for
this brand. For information about the Supplement, see the Brookside Press
web site at http://www.tiac.net/users/pianobk
