dogs (etc.) stuck in pianos

A friend told the story of when he was a student of hiding his liquor
in the bottom of the upright in is rented room.  Coming home from
class one day he become panicked when her heard the ping-ping-ping of
a piano being tuned.  He rushed upstairs and was able to remove and
hide elsewhere his stash before the tuner arrived in his room.
