Soundboard scratches

If you steam, with an iron and a damp cloth, you can raise the grain
of the areas that have been scratched, then sand them out.  You may
consider sanding them out anyway unless doing so will change the color
of the board in that area.  Try this only if the scratches do more
than 1/10 the thickness of the board.
