Sounds like these guys know what they're doing.  You're correct - the
perfect tool for the job.  Stairways are always a pain - so charge for them.

Well of course on occasion movers have to move a piano up a
flight of stairs with some tricky turns.  I had a rebuild that
came back to a just remodeled home and was expressly told
not to touch the walls.  So the movers picked up the grand
piano/on its side/moving board, two on each side and walked
it up the steps.  Not scratch!  Those were the correct tools for
that move...
