Is this something that has been going on for a while and I just didn't notice, or is it something new for BaldWurls? Has anybody had any experience with these and are we looking at a lot of the same kind of procedure that Patrick is talking about? I was wondering how stable the tunings would be. >> Many European, and some Asian pianos do not have back posts, but no tuning stability problems. Pianos without back posts that have tuning stability problems would have the same problems with back post, because something else is contributing to the problem. It's the same with laminated boards. Some tuners seem to think that all pianos with laminated boards do not sound good because of the laminated boards. My contention is that if these piano had solid boards, they still wouldn't sound good because of other factors, (hammers, scaling, overall construction, etc.). Willem Blees
