The Baldwin Piano Service Manual copyright 1967 states on page 3. "The spacing from the wippen flange center to the hammer flange center should be 4 7/16" for all Baldwin Grands exceptt the Concert Grand, for which it should be 4 31/64"." The Baldwin Piano Service Manual copyright 1983 on page 3 "The spacing from the wippen flange center to the hammer flange center should be 4 27/64" for all Baldwin Grands except the Concert Grand, for which it should be 4 31/64"." What do they mean by all Baldwin Grand? Maybe it means all Baldwin made in 1967 should be 4 7/16 and in 1983 4 27/64. Does any one have a Baldwin Service manual for 1905. The maximum spacing I get out of a Baldwin C made in 1905 is 4 3/8". What should be the spacing for 1905 Baldwin C be?
