Since the action has been rebuilt (partially?) the original measurements are gone and just reproducing what is there will give you another set of action parameters that feels "too heavy and sluggish". However if the hammers are currently striking in the right place and you want to change some specs on your new keyboard to give a longer shank dimension....be sure and check what that dimension will do for the DW/UW with various knuckle size/placements first. Although I am sure that I am missing the connection between adding length to sharps and the shanks at the same time?? I personally would stick with the shorter/shortest shank dimension, provided striking points are acceptable and other geometry problems are worked out vis a vis David S. Just my view. Jim Bryant (FL)
