"pounding" and ear-plugs

My mother was an audiologist, and she helped me get a pair of those
professional earplugs.  They cost about $125.00.  But I found a pair of
musician's earplugs (don't know if they are the same as the Pianotek
ones) from Musician's Friend.  They are about $15.00.  I don't fret if I
lose them, they are cheap.  One size fits all, they are VERY
comfortable, and easier to "install" in your ears than the expensive
ones.  A drummer turned me onto them.
