Hi John,
I had to laugh at the first line! <grin> =20
No steroids. Just a mix of rest, exercise, good eatin', and a few =
vitamins & minerals for good measure. :-)
Actually, the only thing that hurt a bit was the hand that works the =
tuning hammer. Even got a small blister. But after a day of different =
kind of work, I'm all back to my usual self. (And I was pretty tired. =
They didn't ask me to do the tunings 'till I had already worked for =
about 4 hours... But a little sleep took care of that.)
I haven't used an ETD yet. I've looked at the advertisements, and maybe =
wish a bit from time to time, but for the time being, I'm an aural =
tuner. I've been toying with Tunelab a bit, but I don't have a laptop =
computer, so it's pretty much academic for now. I would like to see if =
I could use an ETD to make me a better aural tuner. We'll see. But one =
thing about the 'marathon tuning', it was good for me in that I got to =
set 10 temperaments on 10 different pianos, the speed of which improved =
as I went, and they actually got better as I went. (Practice makes =
perfect...or at least we move in that direction...) I was going too =
fast, and they were in pretty bad tune for me to play with more or less =
stretch in the octaves. That'll have to be for another day! :-)
I have the next week off, so I'll catch up on my R&R for sure!! :-)=20
Hope you have a nice holiday weekend.

Dear Brian Schwarzeneggar,
=20
Send me whatever steroids you are taking, and I'll wrestle some =
Baldwins, too. :-)
=20
May you rest well over this 4-day weekend. :-) You deserve it. =
Congratulations.

P.S. Did you tune these aurally or electronically?
