I'm trying to find if there are other piano tech discussions available to us. I'll try the "real-time" mIRC chat session tonight, but I really would prefer to find a standard post up a thread format, and see if someone responds directly to the thread. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the mailing list. BUT, there is just so much mail, that I'd prefer to just go to a stationary BBS site and check there to see if my specific post was responded too. Does anyone know of a user-friend piano technicians discussion forum that's not chat-session format or a mass e-mail mailing list? If there isn't, I sure hope a tech here starts one up soon. There are a jillion (sp?) free web-servers that will host a discussion forum for free, so long as we allow them to run an advertisement banner on the top. Whoever sets up the site picks the banner content, yes it certainly can be something other than golf or smut, so we can be assured that the advertisement is appropriate. Please let me know if there is such a thread-based forum posting site currently available for piano technicians to post questions. Brian Henselman,RPT musicmasters@att.net
