Beware! Worn out tuning tip.

I like a relatively loose fit myself.
It would surprise me should this really be the source of the problem.

How was the torque on the pins? No visable cracks, separations
in the piano soundboard, fame, block, plate? No bridge cracks
with traveling pins.....?
