muffler bar problem

Oops, forgot something.
With the pedal down and over, step on it and see if it goes down far enough
to have made enough difference to have worked if it had been that far down
in the "over" position in the first place. If so, shim under the felt to
add some "down" to the "over", adjust it accordingly with the turnbuckle,
and leave the rest of it alone. OK, I'm done now. That's everything I know
about muffler rails.
