Weird action diagrams

Hi,

Thanks, Jack and Andrew, for the offers on Hickman's! My address is at
the bottom of this post.

So my conversion program glitched, hopefully I'll get it running in the
next couple days and send along the requested Staib dxf's. This is an
ongoing project of mine, generating 2d dxf's from action diagrams or
rubbings from parts. They're only accurate as the data I have available,
and I've exhausted my immediate sources.

So I put it to you: please send stuff! I've found rubbings to be
reliable in reproducing most geometry, especially combined with a few
measurements. I have a wish-list, but I need scale drawings of Erard,
and Herz/Erard grand actions from 1843-1889.

The list of files so far: (* are verified to scale, < in preparation)

Broadwood c.1805 sq*<
Broadwood c.1890 g*<
Brooks & Roberts upr
Brown 1843 sq
Brown c.1852 g*<<
Brown (from Conrad Hoffsommer - 1885?) g*
Brown 1886 g*<
Brown 1890 g*<
Brown unIDed g
Cristofori 1726 g
Erard 1821 g
Herz inverse-strung g
Gildemeester&Kroger c.1880 g*<
Guild c.1890 upr*<
H&D c.1860 g*<
Langer 1909 g
Pape down-striking g
Staib-Abendschein upr
Strange Eng. upr*
Strange unIDed upr*
WNG g
Wornum Cottage 1811 upr
Wornum t-ch 1838 g (*<)
Wornum t-ch d-s 1844 g
Wornum t-ch 1842 upr

I'd like to reiterate Jack's statement, that one's unfamiliarity with an
action has no relation to its performance; a number of these are
excellent.

Once I resolve with the software, I'll be able to send any of these that
aren't still pending; however, it may be simpler to upload them to a
handy, central place and my own website looks to be a thing of the
distant future.
