David, We have our basic health care subsidised by the taxes we pay, and we are expected to pay a portion of the costs, eg, xrays, and a portion of medication prescriptions, and a potion of hospital stays etc,etc. Many people also have private health insurance and I think there is an underlying move towards total "user pays" I think a little like in the US. > Graeme, > > Does NZ have a national health plan? > > David I.
