Hi all,

The PTG regulation tech bulletin states that "every note in a grand piano has
more than 35 points of adjustment." For the life of me I can not come up
with 35 "points of adjustment". Here is my list. I'm bearing in mind "every
key" so damper regulation "points" I'm really not counting.
1. Dip
2. Front rail bushing.
3. Key height.
4. Balance rail bushing.
5. Key end felt. Not on all keys. OK, I slipped this one in.
6. Backcheck
7. Capstan
8. Wippen flange friction.
9. Let-off.
10. Repetition spring tension
11. Repetition lever height.
12. Jack spacing fore and aft.
13. Jack sideways spacing.
14. Balancier flange friction.
15. Jack flange friction.
16. Hammer height.
17. Hammer drop.
18. Hammer spacing.
19. String spacing.

Only short by 16. Can somebody get 35?

Have fun.

Doug Mahard
