Diane, Rob, and all

The guild provides an environment for learning-for EVERYONE! Each person
sees differently and asks the same questions from their perspective; and how
many times has the teacher learned from the student? I spent 10 years
teaching industrial technology (shop classes) in high school, and many times
learned form the interpretations of the lessons by the students. This also
occurs when I'm working with people who want to learn more about piano
technology. Teaching/learning is a two way street, one benefiting the other.

And where does one learn piano technology? Yes there are places to go and
educational opportunities out there to give you a good start, but then where
do you go from there? If you want to learn and grow in any field, the best
way to do that is to associate with others that have the same interests.
Hence the PTG. It is the platform for the free exchange of ideas and
information on piano technology. It brings along with all the socio-economic
benefits one would care to enjoy.
