No Dave,
	I think what you cut into is a by and large very independent group of
eccentric and dedicated craftspersons who love what they do and know
that a license isn't going to improve anything except perhaps some
government workers job. Trust me, most of us are anything but blue
collar and probably defy any grouping at all. I think most would have no
fear of a test...the fear would be of some idiot telling you that you're
going to be sued because you didn't file your papers on time this year
and operated anyway. Don't we self-employed people have enough
paperwork????? You jump to an awful lot of conclusions....Take the hike
with a bottle of water - and make sure whoever sells it to you has a
license...maybe you'll feel better.
