Hi Pat,
I use a rotary planer called a "Safe-T-Planer" on my drill press =
with a sliding table arrangement to hold the key. I have a bushing plug =
sized peg in the table that helps locate and hold the key, with =
appropriate relieves in the sliding table to allow for shoes. What led =
me to this was that I wanted something that used the bottom of the key =
as the reference surface rather than the side - which is less reliable. =
