How about Northern Michigan or Northern Great Lakes Area!! Pleasant
summer temperatures, beautiful forests full of lakes and sparkling beaches
to rival any in the world. Fresh water, no smog, and little crime, cheap
lodging, and lots to see and do. Served only by feeder lines to those big
stinking and too busy airline hubs all being about 4-6 hours driving
distance away.
