I am glad to see some sense in this list.I have been working in Crystal
City for twenty years.I live just four miles south in Alexandria and love the
neighborhood and feel very safe.I always keep my car door locked and have
dead bolts on my house doors, but that is just common sense.About parking in
Crystal City it is no big deal. The hotel has a large garage and there is a
place called the Plaza Shops near the Hilton that has a very convient indoor
garage. The metered parking is metered parking. If you don't put enough money
in the meter you are going to get a ticket. Is that not the way it is in most
towns. It is true that the county of Arlington is very quick about writeing
tickets, but what are you looking for.Furthermore Crystal City is not that big
so you can easily walk to most restaurants. There are also a string of meters
along Hayes street between 15th and 17th that are for all day parking at just
a quarter per hour.
