I'd like to thank those who gave me information about
the Steinway lyre sticks. Now I know how to make them ...
gently tapered from the middle, with square 7/8" tops.
I may even make the little ridge at the bottom end,
just to be cute.

I like that idea of measuring by using a telescoping
curtain rod and a marker, too.
