--------------------------------------

Fellow computer users:

As you probably know, a new variant of the LoveLetter worm, known by
some as the
Newlove worm is infecting the computers of the world. This strain is
especially
nasty, as it attempts to replace all files on the infected computer's
hard drive
with copies of itself.

The worm arrives in a message with a subject line that begins "FW"
followed
either by a name taken from the Recent Documents folder or by a random
name.
The message is empty. The attachment is a randomly selected VBS file
name from
the Windows folder.

If you receive a message that could fit this description do not open
it. Do not
launch any VBS attachments under any circumstances unless you have
confirmed
their source and nature.

An easy-to install update for McAfee Virus Scan and installation
instructions
are available at http://www.unlv.edu/infotech/viri/newlove.html. We
will add
updates for Norton Antivirus later today.
