Imagine this:  you are a woman grad student in music (not necessarily piano) 
but you are a skilled tuner and technician.  You have kids to take care of, 
studies to pursue and a job that pays better than most other campus jobs.  
Your husband is also a grad student with a fellowship or some kind of stipend 
position.  You'd live well.  You'd live even better if he had a full time, 
career job.  You'd even do all right if you were never married, a divorcee or 
widow making it on your own.
